The Molokini Crater off the shores of Maui is lovely and is supposed to be a lovely place to snorkel, but out experience was not so great. There were so many boats of snorkelers, and hardly any fish, so old ladies and kids with ‘noodles’ would hit you two or three times for every fish you saw. It was a little better when we stopped off of Maui to look for sea turtles. That wasn’t nearly so congested, and we saw some turtles, too.
